Thailand
A long overdue post for a holiday trip to Thailand. More parts to follow…

Just two elderly folks….right?

Art in paradise museum, Chiang Mai, Thailand.

No, that’s not my hand. I possess zero talent in art. Only thing I can draw are 2D stick figurines. In black and white.
Ridiculously large handmade goods factory/shop. Umbrellas, clothes and the wooden object below that slightly resembles an over-fed kitten.

Sat on this bamboo raft and sailed downstream through a pretty long and rapid river. Had the constant fear of dropping my camera into the water. Not to mention the possibility of the raft breaking apart mid journey and sending all of us to a icy watery grave. Scenery was breath taking though.

Apparently there’s a recent surge in the volume of chinese tourist in Thailand, enough to get them to print in Chinese and sell beer instead of other family friendly beverages.

Floating fruit shop.
The only country where my name is actually recognized currency.

Nope, not a Stairway to heaven. More like a stairway to an crowdless daytime pasar malam.
