In my previous post, I hoped for a manageable last paper. In a way, that was somewhat true. Perhaps it was the last paper for this semester, or perhaps it was the fact that I tried my best and gave it all I had, I came out of the exam hall feeling quite relieved. Although I subsequently found out that my answers were not entirely correct, at least my approach was on the right track. Some method marks there please?
On another note, it would appear that I might have overestimated my score for mathematics. Despite that, it remains one of the modules I am banking on for a good grade. Many have told me that doing badly for a paper does not mean the grade will be likewise, however, I have also read on some forums that scoring an A for an easy paper might not be a walk in the park either. So here’s what I think. The former is the advice people give to console those who have done badly for that paper, giving them a slight glimmer of hope that all may not be lost. And in the case that bell curve worked in their favor and they did not do as badly, good for them. Else, well too bad. As for the latter, it’s the warning that nothing is guaranteed and the bell curve sometimes just hates you.
Moving on from the finals, I have found a new plugin for gallery displays. Some of the albums have transitioned over. I personally feel the new plugin is cleaner and serves up higher quality images. Do check it out here.

Had my first ever star wars today. To describe the experience in one word, I would say it’s a “nightmare”. I must have spent hours trying to get the core mods to play nice with each other and at the same time reshuffle them to fit in the electives. To make matters worse, I have cleared the mods for my year, so I am basically fighting with the second years for the same mods. Thank god for fast hands and low latency internet, for I emerged victorious while some other friends were not so fortunate. This is just the first few steps of the battle, my language electives are still pending while the waitlist grows day by day.
